Another amazing and striking image. Your shot captures the angular shape of these birds and is very expressive. I love the hint of movement at the wing tips, whilst the head is still nice and sharp. Excellent again. B&w conversion handles very well. I'm guessing you played with the levels to get the great clarity. The water splashes adds a lot of vibrancy to the shot. Focus stunning again. Great panning to capture the action again. Lovely shot Willie.

Thank you so much! I watched him through the lens, he was looking for fish, so when he moves a little I was on him, but when the ice cracked I was hoping for something like this.

Really nice capture. Like the black and white, adds some nice contrast. Good focus and detail to the body and head, but a nice blur to the wings to show movement. very well done. Thanks for sharing.
