Our dogs chase away squirrels away but not fast enough. This composition with the squirrel, feeder and red cardinals is very nice and captivating. Color s are nice and the cardinals in three different positions created almost like a balance for the red color. NIce blurred snow falling in the background and of course, the squirrel too busy eating his share, he looks oblivious to his surroundings. Your technique is excellent. Amazing photo!

This is really lovely. What luck you had to get both the squirrel and the three lovely red birds in one go. It is even snowing. The squirrel must have been sitting there for some time since it is covered with snow. The atmosphere is great. I just love it. Wonderful colors and a nicely blurred background. Lovely composition. Well done !

another even more perfect picture. Interesting nature scene with lots going on. So vivid and well focused. Wonderful capture. The snow on the squirrels back and the snow in the background that is blurred look very nice.

I have experienced this scene in WI many times. I have however never seen the male cardinals so patient. A very unusual capture. Well done.

Charming photo -- in one shot you have almost made up for every bad, boring and cliche bird and squirrel shot on this site. This shot is beautiful. I adore it. Charming, beautifully composed and framed. Ten wows and six stars!

Great nature shot! Perfectly composed and balanced in the frame. Eye catching red of not 1, but 3 Cardinals compliment harmony of nature scene, sharing feed, which can be difficult to find during harsh weather, tells story all by itself. Love it!

Wow! What a lovely picture, with these three very vivid Cardinals against the snow. I love that combo, and you have nailed it right here. And perfect, with the cute squirrel just taking his time! Great story elements.

What a lovely capture, Willie!

Nice work Willie and always a pleasure to review your work. Nice shutter speed to blur the snow. Interesting photo as if the birds were waiting for the squirrel to finish. Thanks for sharing your talent.

This is so beautiful, you're so lucky if this is a common scene near you:) Excellent photo, not to mention the perfect timing, but you have composed this so great. I love the colors a lot and, no matter the weather conditions, it's great with snow flakes falling. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty.

Thank you so very much! I have so many cardinals, they are very abundant. There is a lot of squirels here too, but my little dog likes to chase them, so they are a little wild. I put out corn for them but they like the sunflower seed a lot!
