this work has drama the dark background adds to this feeling the work has focus and it tells a story it has nice color and texture the focus the yellow flower has great detail i like this work good job

Not only did I enjoy the shot, with its lovely crispness and great composure (do not crop the top off..it adds so nicely to the presentation, although I am sure some will want you to.) I enjoyed the notes..haven't thought of this in simply years! donkeyoatey

Thank you very much for the lovely review. I am not going to crop the top off. I was thinking like you. Somebody are for sure going to suggest that, but nobody have; yet. I like the green leaf in the background going to the top, and decided to keep it in the image.

The yellow of the flower really jumps out at you from the dark background. I like the composition and the stalks lead your eye to the middle of the photo nicely. Good job!

Yes, it looks like a dandelion, but this flower is just 1 cm across. It isn't the most spectacular blossom around, but it is one of the first we ever see after a long winter. Thank you very much for a nice review.
