How could you not want to play with this little guy. The expression on his face is priceless. He does look like he is asking a question. I don't know, this photo just struck me as priceless. It doesn't hurt that I love dogs either.

Great focus and colours bring the shot to life. I like the composition and framing as well as it pulls your eye straight onto the main focal point - you're not spending ages studying the shot to see the point! Good luck

Another likeable pet photo with a darling subject. Bright green ball really adds color, and ribbed fabric on sofa adds interesting texture. Corduroy is great in pictures; it picks up light and shadows so nicely.

I understand that the ball is green and all. But the ball is not the main focus of the picture. The main focus of the picture is the lovable pooch. I think this photo would have been a good entrant to the pets contest.
At any rate, the photo makes a strong initial impact. The viewer is drawn to Gidget's eyes. The focus is sharp. The lighting is good. The composition is good.
