I love the twisted brush effect - as you call it. In PS, I would call it smudging or using a smudge tool to smear the color like that. Have been playing with it alot lately and love what you have done here with the lions mane and the background. So simple yet attractive.

i have got to get photoshop since i purchasd twisted brush I have left my other programs behind it seems lOL
