This is a really impressive shot! Really impressive. The focus on the edges of the bubbles in the foreground is flawless.. really, really impressive for such a fragile subject with such fine lines! (I noticed that the edges behind them appear a bit more rough... I'd suggest using a slightly deeper DoF, but this may also be degradation caused by the FAR upload. Either way, the presentation looks fine, you've definitely kept attention in the front.) Anyway, I love the the composition here as well. There's a lot here for the eye to explore (never woulda guessed that with a small pile of bubbles, huh?) due in part to the light. The very pleasant golden color on the water (and the reflections) pull the eye into the bubbles, and once there the eye has so much to explore from the various curves to the repeated patterns of the reflections on the bubbles. The vignette actually serves really well to keep the eye IN the shot, as does the darkened and blurred out background. Great composition, focus, exposure.. an experiment that really paid off. Thanks for sharing!!

It is an interesting use of experimental photography. If the bubbles were merely looking like they were sitting in the sink, the photo would not seem that interesting. but by using well trained lighting, the photo takes on a different dimension.
