This is a beautiful piece in its simplicity. Nice colors and with the many hues of green throughout. Really nice work.

JosephGilbert,
Yes, pointillism takes along time, hour upon hours, but to me the end results is very appealing. I like that impressionistic feel, where tonal quality and light and shadow and the viewer create the cohesiveness of the artwork presented. Thank you for having stopped, looked and then left me your thoughts on my work. All you efforts in doing so are very much appreciated by me.
Seasons greeting, cheers!!

Beautiful work of Pointillism and in color even more so. Have a friend who does strictly black and white and will never do color! Very impressive and a wonderful scene you created here Lucien!

I do black and white, stippling as well, but this style presenst its own set of challanges.

This will have to be an impression based on the photo available on FAR-to really critique pointalism one must view it closely and from a proper viewing distance-academically Seurat envisioned pointalism as a technique where the eye would blend the colours so blue, yellow and even red and purple dots made green-overall I like the right 2/3rds of this composition better than the left portion-when you view the thumbnail you can almost see a line of demarcation where the picture seems to change-the birch trees are delightful-I will be interested to see more of this style if you do any-good job

This is beautiful the way you have done it. I like the way you have the trees on the right The way you have the rest of the trees in this is excellent. The detail is excellent. Nice depth to this too. An excellent work of art.
