Your fish is not familiar to me but that does not stop me from recognising that this is a very good photo! Like your composition, your shot is sharp and has fine exposure. Looks to me as if the heron is about to use the log as plate and table combined. Very good shot, well done!

I keep coming back to look at this photo so I guess it is speaking to me. Oddly, it is the background (pink, green, steel gray blue texture) which pull me in the most. That you got the shot is amazing, but I think the background is like a beautiful abstract painting. I probably do too much manipulation on my own work so I'd make the log disappear but then you'd loose the cool reflection it makes on the water. Very cool.
