You have a beautiful picture of the humming bird. The focus is clear and crisp. The fowers are a bit soft, maybe that is what you were going for. The colors are beautiful. The bird almost looks 3 D.

I love the way that all the focus is on the 'bird'. The flowers add beautiful color but do not distract the eye from the main topic. A great nature shot.

This is a fantastic photo of a hummingbird in flight. Your stop action is excellent. It is not often we see these birds in a photo without blurred wings. Unless they are sitting still of course. I also like the vivid colored flowers in the background.
Your focus is spot on and very sharp showing very fine and clear details in the bird. It is really standing out against the background. I also think the exposure is very good, and the colors seem nice and natural.
My only concern is that the flowers probably take a bit too much attention away from the bird. Even if you loose a bit of the flowers I think I would have cropped a bit tighter. Still the flowers are a good indicator for what size these birds actually have. The placement within the frame works well. It is a well done photo and I wish you luck with the contest.
