This is a magnificent piece of art. Great high initial impact image. Very creative. The only thing that I would change is to give this ship more room to sail into. But that is me. Really well done. Thanks for sharing.

The clarity and sharpness of this is very strong and has a very good visual impact. I could see it jumping out at me right from the thumbnail allowing me to enjoy it right from the getgo.

This clipper ship is really clipping along at an enormous pace, one can tell from the tilt but should it not have a longer wake?

I like how you did the asymmetrical balance, the moon balances the ship and gives a steady feeling.

The hazy dark clouds which almost act like a frame or vignette is a nice touch because it adds to a mood of surrealness or otherworldliness.

The way you have bled in the yellow on the water is very well done and quite realistic then mixing it in with the water towards the foreground.

There seems to be an airiness to the ship like it really isn't on water but ready to take off , this gives it that surreal feeling that I mentioned earlier.

Your colours are in harmony giving an overall warm feeling. The brown of the ship, the brown of the hazy clouds...and who has ever seen chocolate brown clouds...ooooh that is a nice touch. Your imagination has ignited my imagination.

I see you've thrown in some reddish hues and that gives it more depth. I also like the way those clouds almost obscure the horizon line.

I think this is a very well thought out image done by a creative artist and you most certainly do deserve high marks. I don't know why but I keep thinking that ship is made out of chocolate....sorry, my imagination has gone beserk!

LOL what a lovley idea, a candy sailing ship LOL, this began as a ghost ship, but I put so much detail in it it took away from the look of a ghost ship, thats why the ways are off a bit and the boat is angled, I had it coming out of the depth of the ocean, worked on those waves for a long time since Ihad to attempt to change them, but this was about the best I could come up with, however I'll now change it to a chocalote milkshake and a fun dessert for easter LOL
thank you for the review as always it means alot

Wow, a wonderful painting. The sun is really special how it diffuses its light across the sky and also the water. The ship is detailed and well composed at the tilt. Its wake and that blue choppy water are excellent. Amazing my friend. Cyn
