Very vivid and alluring red and black use here. The edges are cut like a razor with wonderful highlights to the flower petals. Really like the reflections in the water.
Excellent balance and perspective to this work.

Now you had to get a giggle out of me with asking if I could just see you locked in the bathroom with a rose, camera, and a flashlight. My only question was, where were the kids ? LOL

Looks for all the world like a rose bloom floating in water. Nice big frame filling composition presented here of a very beautiful rose. Your shot is very sharp and very well exposed providing us with lots of great detail and natural looking colours. Very good photo, well done!

Another very nice image. There is no bounds to your creativity. Clean sharp details in the rose and I really like your use of light. The flood filter is a nice touch and the ray effect rounds it out perfectly. A well composed presentation.
