A very beautiful contender for this contest you have here. I love how the water has a very interesting feel to it. As you look at the picture, the flow of the water is easily detectable especially when you compare it to the stillness of the ground that surrounds it

Looks like an exercise in shutter control! Never used a monopod, but it seems to have done a good job here as the land framing the water is very sharp!
Nice image, well done.

Thank you so very much! I like the monopod for a lot of things but for water you really need a tripod. This is all I had with me!

The picture has potential but needs a couple of improvements. There is no scale in this, we don't know how big or small this stream is. Maybe a tree as a reference. Also a slower shutter speed would give more action to the water. Good luck in the contest. Cyn
