This is a very nice shot of this young lady smelling the rose. Your photograph is focused well. Light condition is good too. Well composed photograph wherein your subject in black holding red rose has lovely appearance. Well done. Murad

The selective use of colour has been well crafted here. The entire image is severe with both the black and white but also the clothing of the girl. I love the rose, red is most traditional, held in her hand. Good luck in the contest my friend. Cyn

Looking at this photo after reading your description really makes me look deeper into her eyes. The selective coloring really makes her look sad. Very somber photo. That's what's its about making people feel something, right... nice job.

Nice job W. I think IM right. This selectivity color really looks great. Very sharp think the little light needed to be their on her shoulder, or the shadows would have blended in with the background.

My son used to use this effect with his camera a lot. It's pretty effective to highlight specific colors and I suspect in real life the true colors were pretty subdued anyway. Nice job!
