This is a wonderful picture. It's one of those that draws you in and makes you want to go there. I love the colors, and the reflections in the water. The flowers and the deer in the background give it a quiet, peaceful look. Nice job! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful creation - beautiful scene - looks like a piece of paradise - your meadow is well worked out until the most tiny details - your river has a perfect mountain and cloud reflection and the deer represents life - beautiful color choice - very good technique - well done - all the best for the contest

Great clouds and textures in the rocks and foilage. The water ripples are well done with the reflections. The umeven edge of the grassy bank at the edge of the water improves the composition. The redish flowers at the front are a bit too strong, maybe in size. They would work a lot better if you also had a few specks of the same colour at the base of the rocky outcrop accross the water.

Great composition. Very serene. The rule of 3 and the harmony of colors are very nice. The light source, and shadows in the water are great. The small details of the elk, meadow with small flowers, soaring bird all add to the overall storytelling impact. Great job.

This is a very pretty image. On the rocks is a good title too and fits the scene aptly. I like the framing with the pretty meadow flowers in the foreground. The mountains add depth to the picture, drawing your eye into the frame. Sky is beautiful with lots of clouds and I like the animal on the top of the mountain. The image looks rather too blue for my liking. It has a blue cast. Also a little too dark in the foreground which unbalances the image.

Susan, I see by your profile that you are a photographer. Would you have any tips on how to get rid of the blue cast? I've tried just about everything :) I even tried a b&w layer adjusted to a lower percentage, which gave it beautiful light blue sky, but that really washed out the greens and reds. hmmmm :) Anyway, HELP!! LOL
