Very pretty image. I read your notes and like your sentiments too. I like the composition a great deal which appeals to me in particular because I love plants and gardening. The patio is very pretty with a view over the city beyond. Sky is interesting with lightening and more interest in the rain. Colours are soft, focus is very good and framing too. Good luck in the contest.

Love the stormy weather idea and the falling rain.
Fabulous silhouetted cityscape in the distance and in contrast with your own personal garden space in the foreground.
But what I really love is that lightning strike very symbolic and graphic take on the theme.
