Very nice. I like the lush green ferns in the foreground, I like the pattern formed by the shadows in the ferns. The way the picture is framed by the trees gives depth to the picture.

It looks very real for a fantasy. I can easily imagine that place somewhere at the Olympic National Park or even in some rain forest. Maybe its a mix of both what makes me thinking of the Olympic Peninsula and Costa Rica at the same time. {Did you have any of this in mind while painting?] I like the addition of the birds. I see three, but imagine more, some mammals hidden by the ferns and maybe a snake and some mosquitoes. Another cheerful scene which makes me smile and let me think of vacation.

Love the depth created by the birds and faded background in the center top of the picture. Nice use of scale to create depth. The details in the fond's and leaves on the trees is wonderful and the slight touches of orange lead my eyes all over the work. Bravo!

Certainly has a jungle type appearance with lush green foliage everywhere. Reminds me of spring when everything appears with new fresh green shoots. I like the composition and the placement of various plants. Lots of texture too in the different types of leaves. Very pleasing to view.
