Terrific work! Looks very hard to do, but you succeeded well. I like the diff colors of the horses and the bright, lively fantasy look!

    Phyllis Srewart,

The challenge for me is or the idea is how do colors work together and affect one another, & then how to manipulate them use them, to create a visually pleasing image.

Every color seen in the drawing is a dot applied by hand. I start with the lightest color dots first and then work into the darker colors. The depth of the colors is achieved by, laying one color against another color or over the color underneath it, in doing so I get a third and forth color both visually and in reality. That layering of the dots of colors is what creates the color harmony and depth within the drawing. I was inspired to perfect the technique by some of my favorite artists: like Georges Pierre Seurat, Paul Signac,Camille Pissarro and of course his son Lucien Pissarro.

This drawing is 5 x 7 and took me 12 hours to complete. I am offering it as a signed and numbered limited edition print. Thank you for your time in looking and writing the review your support of me and my artwork is very much appreciated.

    Have great day...cheers !!!

Very well done.
This looks like it takes alot of time.
The form of the horses' heads, their eyes, ears and noses are represented perfectly.
Great color clarity.
Good framing and composition.

It is difficult to get good detail like this in pointillism. You did a great job. Although the colors were somewhat dictated by the photo, you did a great job of picking the correct shades to gain good shading.
