What a moth & orchid prediction for a genius that was Darwin. He must have a scientific mind that we should be cloning at this modern times...
Even the computer whiz kids of today can't predict what type of frog can pollinate a water lily 27 years from now!!!
The petals of Angraecum sesquipedale are so distinctly unique that you can predict its so precious and rare. The focusing is sharp & lighting is clear. Cropping is better.

Flowers are overexposed especially on the left side, did you use exposure compensation when shooting these? Would help
The background colour is very bold and overtakes the flowers as the main focal point

Started to read your notes which I found most interesting. Guessed about the Hawk moth though. Only thing that could pollinate these flowers apart from a Hummingbird I imagine. Beautiful blooms and they look even more fantastic against the blue background which may or may not be the sky.

many thanks again; hummingbird cannot fit, it needs a much longer nose; the moth is called Xanthopan morganii predicta: it has a proboscis 35 cm long !!!

I can't even pronounce the title but it is a beautiful orchid. It's a tad soft with areas blown out on my monitor. I like the content and composition. I'd have cloned out the creases and blotches in the blue background to make it appear even. I think it might have been a plastic sheet. Love the plant well done. Jack.
