Hi MK , this is yet another totally awesome sharpie piece . Relaxing though but it looks interesting . The winding path continues onward into the horizon and so forth . . . Great piece ;)

Defiantly a daydreaming art piece. No real idea or thoughts. It just flows out and is calming and peaceful. I like that there is nothing in this one. It has a lot of shading and lighting and just enough color to draw you in.

Well, I have doubt around the gray forms. Of start I thought that was rocks, now that clouds. Either way I like it. Especially the green color and texture of the grass, just like that the uneven ground and the curves of the path. Well done.

Yes, this is bigger areas to do, real nice hard work. Good color harmony. Good d.o.f. where the road goes out of sight:)

Color combinations are very nice. The road to me tells the story of what is around the next bend in this very colorful trip to anywhere. Creative and playful.

Excellent use of color and the piece is well grounded with the low horizon. Lot of effort in work like this and the attention to detail shows though. I can hear Paul' s long and winding road in my head. And it' s good.

Nope, Sorry this doesn't look anything like a sunrise to me Mark. At first glance I see a green grass area and then an area of desert sand with grey rocks in it. Then a yellow horizon and then blue sky. I presume the grey things are supposed to be clouds.
I think you need more blue color in the sky amongst the yellows of the sunrise and if the white area is supposed to be the sun rising, it needs to be closer to the green horizon. The clouds also need more white and more of the yellow tones of the sunrise reflected in them so they don't look like rocks in the sand. The grassy hills and road are the best things in this picture. I think this is one your more mediocre works. You must have been half asleep when you did it. ;-)

down in the south when the dawn is breaking the clouds will have a shadow look with the light behind it. if u get a chance sit outside before dawn and observe the sky and shadows of the lower clouds u might see what i see at the end of my shift.wink. thanks for the great review!
