Nice color highlights to the rose. The background is dark and faded out drawing focus to the rose. The rose tells the story as it represents love.

Wonderful shot for a such a sad moment. My son lived 5 1/2 days. This is a great macro. The black background mirrors the grief, but the bud symbolizes the beginning of life. I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing with us.

Nice image, but softess of focus detracts it for me. In a close up, sharp focus is so critical unless there is something else that pulls you eye away. Nice colors and framing. Good idea.
