Sad story, wonderful tribute to Doyle. I understand how catseye marbles got their name. Nicely detailed and beautifully illustrated. The pastels give a very soft and fluffy feel to the scene. The eyes are mesmerizing. I feel like he is staring right through me. Beautiful work.

I had a cat names Trigger who disappeared one day, he had been with us for 15 plus years, never really went outside, and then one day made a dash for the door and was gone. This is a beautiful closeup painting of this beautiful cat and his eyes, very mesmerizing.

Read your notes which I found interesting. He may have moved off into a new home. My friend had about 10 cats which she used to show and breed. They disappeared for days at a time and then she discovered they "moved" into other peoples homes. These people adopted them thinking they were strays and as far as they were concerned, they then belonged to them! What clever cats. Getting two lots of love and food! Very pretty image but it is though eyes that do it for me in this work. The colours are amazing and they certainly look life like.

Doyle is an adorable little kitten. You have captured his young innocent expression perfectly. Beautiful coloring. Gorgeous eyes that are perfectly round, reminding me of greenish blue marbles. Pretty white markings and cute little pink nose as well. Excellent close up and great visual impact.
