I've only ever seen wolves in captivity but I do agree with your sentiments.
For me, this has a vaguely supernatural feel to it - but then again aren't wolves quite often linked to the supernatural!

Great image. The immediate point of interest is the silhouette of the wolf family. The composition of this sculpture is very good.What lends drama and effect to the image is the circles of light and the rays of light moving outward from these circles. The colours are striking and the background consisting of all this play of light is reminiscent of the northern lights. Considering the habitat of the wolves a most appropriate background. A very good image.

Great image. The immediate point of interest is the silhouette of the wolf family. The composition of this sculpture is very good.What lends drama and effect to the image is the circles of light and the rays of light moving outward from these circles. The colours are striking and the background consisting of all this play of light is reminiscent of the northern lights. Considering the habitat of the wolves a most appropriate background. A very good image.

Once again another excellent example of your editing talent, it blows my mind when I see one of your works come up. One can almost hear the wolf's howl, stunning silhouete's of them and the fract filter worked well, love the eierie background and awesome colours for such a scene. Excellent work. Well done.

The first things that catch my eye is the perfect framing and the very well done shimmer on the top of the rocks.
The background, I assume is what you did with the Topaz lens effect. I recently added that app and I'm going to have to learn to use this type of effect.

Nice work!
I have never seen a wolf in the wild. I would like to if I can pick the conditions! There is a lot of coyotes here and fox.
I like you entry as I think this is more in line with the contest. I had noting any better so I just went for the funny. Good luck!

This is a real concern, I agree totally - your image shows your love for them, your inner joy, your great heart - this is a fabulous work, your backgrounds says it all, let the sun shine for the wolves and the wonderful moon they are so connected with - this background is magic, beautiful perfect or the wolf family standing there - you created a scene that transforms us into a part of this green perfectly integrated.
