You do not say in your notes where this actually has been built. I see mountains in the background and naturally think of Greece, but I could be wrong! What a lovely surprise to discover this place. Makes for a very interesting photograph. The scenery is beautiful too and so are the cloud formations. Well captured with very good framing, focus and DoF. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.

Interesting -- where was this taken? At first glance one would think it to be an ancient theatre. The composition is verygood....the seating and the building are the focal point - the lighting is excellent placing part of the theatre inn shadow..good texture in the stonework..the mountain in the background and the cloud immediately above it seems to give greater height to the mountain. Technically a very good image and good choice for the contest.

Very good reflections, who would go there into the nowhere? This is a huge investment and wow construction copied from historic times - when we see the house it might have been there before and just be redone to keep the place like it was - your composition is fantastic - your angle spectacular as it lets us perfectly perceive how far this is from civilization, huge mountains and few vegetation - you were lucky that the heavens gave you the perfect cloud in the perfect moment, so your timing is fantastic as this show going on in white add a lot to the ambiance of the image - super adjustments, a perfect image, with a beautiful lighting - perfect contest criteria, all the best

Its indeed magnificent!
Perhaps this has really a grand purpose judging from the colossal structure.
I like the vantage point of capturing this amphitheater as it looks like a realist painting with its panoramic backdrop & dramatic cloud formations.
Great composition for the contest.
Congrats!
