WOW! What a fantastic image--- a most beautiful rendition of a rose..Such Definition - great highlights on the satin background--I wish I had six stars !!! Composition is also " over the top "..Absolutely fabulous---I have one suggestion since it is for the contest--the top leaf has some ' white stuff ' on it--can you darken it a bit or clone it out? Does not detract from the image--if you can't do it, don't lose sleep over it..Best of Luck in that contest !!! This is a great entry!!

The texture of the petals in this photograph makes me wonder which is softer to the touch, the rose petals or the silk. Terrific photo with great detail in the flower, contrasting only with the green leaves. White on white is beautiful and a tremendous contest entry.
