What an interesting picture. I see the face of an owl but I also see butterfly wings. I can see this being made in metals too, like copper and silver. It has a 3D quality which I like. Very attractive as well as very intriguing!

Very creative work. Great illumination, fine details and very nice textures. I love the eyes of owl in the wings of butterfly and the feathers that seem of cardinal in the front. Great amount of textures, nice lighting and beautiful presentation.

It is very creative work Annie. I like the way you turned butterfly wings into feathers.
It makes me think of a mardigras mask.
The only suggestion I have for improvement is to add a few very fine feathers around the top of the beak to help the beak blend into the feathers or soften that very sharp line around the top of it where it joins the feathers.
It currently looks to me like the beak is stuck on top of the feathers rather than connected to them. Look at bird beaks in nature and you won't see such a sharp line around the top of them.
Overall the work is excellent.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Sky. I know exactly what you mean about the beak. It was actually some feathers there, but I was too eager when I did the cleaning up job. Irritating that I could not see this for myself.
