Nice try of this black and white conversion. I can tell that the original image is sharp, because of the clarity of the textures of the coat and the grass blades are very defined. Excellent angle showing the front view and facial features. A nice spacious framing. Well captured.

A good view on this wolf who seems a bit scared and cautious here. Nice focus and frame with a good exposure to show the details. I prefer color too, however, bw is an option that will be around for a long time.

Wolves are cool animals. I agree with you that my love is color but have ventured out in trying some black and white. the detail in this is excellant. He the wolf was a little dark he or she would blend into the background. What a beautiful animal. Was he wild or in capitivity? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. He was in captivity but still wild. The wolves in this place had big natural areas to move around in, and were more or less just seen when they knew it was feeding time.

Great detail. the black and white really lets the wolf stand out. I my have cropped it some to center him, but this is a great piece of work well done.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review and of course also for the very generous rating. I am so glad you like this photo, and I will try out your suggestion about cropping.
