Love the colors. I like the story it tells. It depicts most living creatures period. Humans, plants, and animals. Nicely done.

This looks attractive in design and the colours. The background in yellow and purple are complimentary colours .The silhouette of the tree and branches with the delicately painted leaves and the orchid in beautiful colour is a good attractive artwork

I really like the way my eye is drawn into this painting from the left where the old, silhouetted tree starts and then you see the blooming, colourful plants standing out from the trunk.

The colours are beautiful, the purple and yellow work brilliantly together and the dots of red flowers amongst the mushrooms on the ground just adds that little sparkle.

Thank you for sharing this lovely painting.

...sort of a combo between an orchid and thistle. ...the large center aloe seems out of proportion to the rest of the parasites.

I also don't understand why there are two sources of light. The purple sky wash is very nicely done.

Two sources of light... are you talking about the yellow reflecting in the water? There is only one thorny aloe type plant with blossom, the others are a whole different breed entirely, so there's really no comparing the sizes. :)) Thank you, Snowblaze, for the comments. Much appreciated.

ahhh... sorry, I read the water as part of the sky.

Beautiful composition with a very striking initial impact , would love to have a 6 left , a really beautiful and very harmonious painting , your color range and arrangement of the subjects in your frame are very well organised , the light enhancements are perfectly placed to create deepness and magic , super fine details on the flower and branches , a fantastic fantasy painting , radiant in essence showing a great love for details and natural enhancements . Super job, excellent contest entry thanks for sharing = I would call that spider flower , your imagination is fabulous,
