This looks so real. I love the reflections and color variations. It looks like a sharp, macro photograph. Prominence of textures of the coat. Excellent choice of realistic colors. Great painting skills and techniques. Well drawn and painted with expertise.

Awesome drawing of this dog eye and a great entry for the macro art contest. Nicely done with the basic black and white and the amber of the eye.

I love the close cropping to concentrate on the eye. With that watchful look, I wonder if she is following someone carrying her food bowl or her lead for walks. You can almost imagine her eye following it across the room as the person passes. Great colors and life in the painting.

I wish the eye was not in the middle of the work... but this is lovely. I think including that white furry strip was brilliant! Lovely fur strokes. (I'll bet Candy saw lots of love in there lifetime.)
