Great photo art. Like the colors, texture and the filters. The viewer sees the bird tearing the newspapers for fun. Also the bird is cute.

Good catch! Thank you sharing your picture. This is really great, interesting finding in the pet shop. This kind of birds, I think this is parrot, sometimes are bored and looking for the " jobs" around.
Your mixed media work makes it look antique and ageless. I like the appearance, however, I have to say, it fooled me: I did not realize, it was "street photography" shot, till I read your notes.

This is gorgeous. I really like the background you have chosen. It compliments the bird quite nicely. The oil painting filter on the bird is beautiful. I like that he is getting into a bit of mischief and that you caught him doing so. All technical aspects are excellent. Stunning!!

A nasty job, but somebody has to do it. A nicely presented image with very fine detail in the bird, especially the eye and beak. The composition is excellent and the colors are beautifully subtle.

A beautiful stop action picture of the unusual looking Parrot with pale head & breast, coffee coloured back & wings & red tail busy tearing newsprint to shreds, possibly because it likes the sound it made, or she was broody & wanted to start nesting??? Artistic composition, framing & lighting, taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

I guess I will start this review series with a Six Star rating. The after photo work is just excellent. The background and oil painting filters really make this a stand out photograph.
