What a beautiful photo of this Loosestrife. I wish I had a six. Your whites are beautiful and so true to life. Your detail of the center of the florets is perfect with the depth of field beginning at just the right spot to show of the goose neck shape of this plant.
Your notes are thorough, as usual. And as I have had loosestrife I appreciate your knowledge very much. The butterflies loved mine as well. I like you idea of putting it in front of a taller perennial as yes it is invasive. Excellent photo, framing, lighting, detail and color! Thanks for sharing!

I have so much fun photographing this bed Becky. It really does look like a big bunch of Geese. Somehow years ago I got the yellow variety of Loosestrife. Talk about invasive....and not nearly as pretty. Took me a few years of ruthless yanking to get rid of it. Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I really do appreciate it.

You are most welcome Deb. I had this same variety..glad I didn't have the yellow. But I was always yanking this as well.. Last year it all got yanked and that space is now a rock garden..the gardener wore out her back.. :/

Some gardeners are REALLY opposed to this variety Becky. I love looking at the whole bed of them together. I just force them to play nicely.

LOL...I love your take on them appearing to be a gaggle...completely true!

Cool,Deb!
This 'Gooseneck' has a sort of a 'slinky' elegant look to it that I really like and the classy White against Green with black shadowy aspects make the picture's coloration really Stand Out!
Another 'Good Show' here,my friend! : )
