Wow Deb. You just keep getting better and better. This is such a great rendering of this already beautiful flower. I especially commend you on you after photo work that sharpened certain petals and essentially gave a paint like effect to the rest of the flower. The spikes are such a great contrast to the subtleties of the flower. Very well done Deb ~ Steve

I'm afraid my editing program does not allow for selective sharpening Steve. lol...just got lucky when photographing this guy. I do appreciate you checking it out though. Thank you so much.

A very nice shot. The surrounding bracts make it a real eye catching blossom. I like the cropping and the beautiful colors. The details are well shown and the flower looks particularly good against this background.

This lovely picture caught my eye straight away, I love the colours, the softened background, and the unusual shape, makes it look a bit alien, though, in an interesting way, glad you took the trouble to photograph it.
