So true. I don't even know where to begin. What I noticed first was the little spray bouncing off the cliff on the left. I love the sharpness of this shot and the glorious clouds and color of the sky.

A beautiful golden sunset.
Camera management is very good. Very well done capturing the sea spray off of the rocks. The shutter speed was fast enough to freeze the action in place with no blur - timing is everything where moving water is concerned.
The color range and lighting of the take are well balanced and contribute nicely to the overall eye appeal of your composition. Nice reflections of sunlight off the water.
The framing of this composition is well thought out. I like how kept the rocks in the frame on the left. This gives the eye of the viewer an anchor point to work from.
DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image.
The only thing that keeps me from giving this very well done piece a six is the water. Even with moderately rough water like this a long exposure (1-2 Sec.) would have given a silkiness to the breaking waves and the spray would look like a soft stream.
This a top of the line take as is and you should be proud of the fine work you have posted ... B-)) Bob

Thanks Bob for your detailed and concise review and comments. I agree with you on the wave and water. A 1-2 second exposure is what is needed. That is one of the big limitations of the iPhone. You can only do so much. Maybe I can do some after photo work in those areas. Thank you again my friend for the excellent review ~ Steve

Steve,
A mystical golden sunset over the sea the tide coming in & the waves crashing onto the rocks in the foreground your fast exposure freezing their movement. The sky above that is reflected onto the surface of the water is coloured gold by the dying sun as it sinks beneath the horizon. The whole scene exudes a sense of God given peace. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Steve, I'm at a loss of words over this one. So, your photo stands on its own my friend.
Colors are stunning with that low light evening.
Your stop action on the water is perfect and one of the few times water should be shown this way. You have quite the eye my friend. So beautiful!!!

....much larger. And to capture it in the eye of the photographer instead of the camera is a rare and wonderful gift - which you use sparingly and concisely to produce images such as these. Wonderful composition and colours, well angled capturing the wave break against the rocks with immaculate timing - overall a great photo, I admire this.

WOW!...Love the title...and then looking at your scene...how could you not be humbled. This is the heavens and earth in their most interactive time of day in a place that mixes the elements in a most beautiful scene. Perhaps they are competing against each other. Most of all...you saw it and captured it. Amazing..as usual! Thank you!
