Controlled illumination highlights softly without blown out spots.
Realistically & bilaterally proportional.
Unique tilted positioning.
Is that head part really cropped in the original copy?

Thank you Dick. Yes the head is cropped in the picture. I know I should have included it, but my imagination is not as sharp as it should be.

Your smudging is gentle showing good shadowing and the tonal range of the drawing is extensive from white to gray to black.
Dimensional proportions well done and we can tell you are not new to your craft.

Omg...i thought this was a black and white photograph. Details are delightful. Eyes, lips and hair are amazingly done.

The more I looked at this the more appreciative I became of the excellent nuances of this beautiful work of art. The highlights and illumination of the face are so well done and add a bit of drama to a very peaceful portrait. I will not repeat what has no doubt already been said of this wonderful work.
