nice place and nice angle of shot, but the sky and the river are too bright, almost over expose and this takes from the initial impact

Beautiful image captured here. I appreciate how the line of the hill on the right becomes the angle to the house's roof.
Well done.
The water inlet and the sky provide the same swaths of color and hue, which gives this image a nice layering effect.

What an amazing place to step out into each morning (when the weathers good!) and potter round the garden with this amazing, almost surreal scenery surrounding the house & grounds. A brilliant vantage point and good DOF captures both the fore and background with great clarity, and the slightly subdued lighting reveals more in the rocks and crags beyond (in my opinion). Good composition and natural, fresh colours are represented well here as this scene displays a wide variance of colour contrast between water, rock, foliage and man made structure in nice harmony. A fantastic shot, well done :)

A very nice looking scene. I am fascinated by the preponderance of rocks and think it is great that they use them as building material. Great colors and fine composition. A great insight to a way of life that is unfamiliar.
