This brings a sense of loneliness to the viewer, the woman walking along the shore alone, the sky has darkened , warning of a storm, the sun manages to illuminate the water and that section of the shore that is wet from the tide. This is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear to view, well exposed in this bright lighting, the woman brings life to this scene , makes the viewer wonder if she makes it off the beach before the storm hits. Well composed and presented!

A lonely walk on a desolate beach. You can feel the impending storm blowing its cold air. The only thing missing in the distance is a lightning bolt. Nice "color" in the almost monochromatic image. Good silhouette of the lonely walker. Well seen.

I like this. I actually can relate to this photo today. Alone and desolate. A storm moving in. You can see it but you don't know what impact it is going to have on you.
Well done and presented.

Good use of starkness in this and the lone figure adds that extra impact to this scene, looks as if she is in a hurry to get home in this, like it although wonder if b/w would have made a difference...Brian
