Wow! Thank you so much VO for your wonderful review. I took an entire series of the ship as it approached the setting sun from the right and kept shooting after it was well past the sun. It might have been competitive in a contest, but two in the series already won and I do not want to be too repetitive. That is why I simply posted this one for the pure enjoyment of the FAR viewers. Nice capture. Could have been entered for the "Sunrise or Sunset" contest. Is that a real pirate ship reconstruction?? Love the corona around the setting? sun. Nice composition, framing focus and dof. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Chuck. This is a replica of a pirate ship that takes tourists on a tour around the bay of Puerto Vallarta every evening. Makes for good opportunities to get some nice shots. Thanks again Chuck ~ Steve

The Pearl rises again. Nice piece showing the silhouette of this sailing ship against the sunset. Nice color throughout, but the clouds are very interesting to view. Good reflection on the water. Nice capture of the wave movement as it washes ashore. Well seen and well captured.

The sunset, the ship - they are both surely magical here, Steve. Caught at such an ideal moment with the ship in perfect position and the setting casting its flicker line in that line down the water. Post processing looks good throughout. Excellent!
