Linda, this is a fantastic work of art, this is an excellent way to show the effects of dementia brought on by Alzheimer's, I also have a lifelong friend who suffered from this, I feel that blue was a good choice for the face and body, it calls attention to the changes, it also does well to represent the saddens and despair that occurs, not only for the person who suffered with this horrible disease but for the family and friends who view this person with such sadness, the broken side does well to show the broken parts of the brain, the memories are colorful and well created, it shows the thought you put into this work, it's true, their memories do escape from their minds, they just fall away, the facial expression is one of despair, the hand on the face is the body language that goes with the feeling of hopelessness , confusion and despair, I like the background tone, it's dark but not pure black, it still has some color, perhaps that represents the small amount of hope , that something will happen to stop this from happening , or possibly something will be discovered that slows the progression dramatically. This is well presented and a good entry for the human form contest! Best of luck to you!
