Strong initial impact: this is out of the world gorgeous! The vibrant orange, with the dark gray and even black with the bright golden yellow in the sky is just so powerful to view ! I am in awe as I view the impact of this sunset over the water, it's such a rich , deep orange tone interrupted by the extension of rocky shore from the left bank and reaching across to the right, the water makes its way over it and comes to meet with the bank in left foreground sending an upward splash that works horizontally from left to right, perfect timing to capture that wave as it splashed upward! This is of course well focused, the image is clear , well composed with your horizon line placed allowing more space for the water and less for the sky giving nice depth to this scene. To stand and witness this gorgeous display, I am certain that you felt the power of the master ! Very well presented! Truly a pleasure to view!

Thank you so much Pat. I really am amazed with the depth with which you describe the scene. You are one of those reviewers that sees and points out things I never notice. The truth is that the Master sets up the scenes and I simply push the button when told to do so. Thanks again Pat your your Wonderful and artistic review ~ Steve

It is the ability to see beauty anywhere that enables you to see it everywhere. A fine image with that low key look that you do so well. Great composition and excellent colors.

Beautiful. I love the monochromatic colors. And you're correct, no one can paint it better than the Master.
Nicely photographed and framed, Steve.

Thank you so much Ruth Ann for your insightful review and comments. Very meaningful for me ~ Steve

I've been meaning to ask and the answer may be obvious but....do you use the iPhone7 for most of your photography?
-
Yes Ruth Ann. I use my iPhone7 for all my photography.
-
I have begun using my iPhone more and more, especially as the camera has gotten much better. It beats hauling all the heavy camera equipment around, especially as I get older and creakier.
-
LOL. I hear you. I have recently purchased a wide angle and polarizing lens which have made a real difference. I haven't posted any of those photos yet but will in the future. I also got an app called slow shutter speed that allows for taking pictures of flowing water and make it look like silk. I bought the iPhone7 mainly for the camera and because my iPhone5 died. Most of the early photos in my portfolio were taken with the 5.
