Spectacular specimen and photography. It looks a bit like a variety of green tree snake we called a Loro in Guatemala. Perhaps that was a boa too, I don't know. I respected them, they moved moved extremely fast right along the top of tall cane grass -- used to startle me a lot. The locals said they were poisonous, and that their favorite diet was parrots.... Great close up shot here!

Thank you very much Daphne. I took this at the Maryland Aquarium in Baltimore. A beautiful snake. The favorite diet is mice and small rodents and small birds. Still here in Ajijic, Mexico. Things are quiet and peaceful thus far. No cases reported so far. Everyone has to wear a mask when we go outside the gated community here. Plan to stay here until May 30th. All our friends back home tell us to stay here as it is better than being home. This too shall pass. Hope all is well with you Daphne. Stay safe ~ Steve

LOL. This is a self portrait. So glad you like it VO. Was working on photos tonight and saw the contest so I figured why not take a photo in the mirror. I think the isolation is taking a tole on me VO. I need more sun ; )
