A beautiful picture of this Allium flower head in bud it's deep magenta coloured bud glowing out from & contrasting with it's beautiful green foliage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Wow, Nik, this is such a different presentation and a really nice close up of such a special flower - your close up , angle and position is excellent as your frame choice really lets this flower stand out in all details as your sharpness is so excellent that we really can admire every detail - I especially love the background as your close up shifts the leaves into a great natural moving energy with many green colors - a great idea and a perfect presentation - happy weekend
