We had a couple of these Barrel Cacti planted near the doorstep our platoon's Day Room at Fort Bliss when I was in the Army several decades ago! : D

This is a very nice one Cleo. I especially like how the orange of the cactus flower stands out so prominently from the background.

This is an impressive artwork! The depth of colors is stunning with the vibrant orange hues popping off the page - a beautiful contrast to the surrounding colors. I like the soft slightly abstract feel of the entire work and the intense definition of the flower. Skilled work that is appealing in every way!

So beautiful and is surely an eye-catcher. I love the choice of colors, especially the different shades of green in the background. The texture added more life to an already radiant blossom. Excellent drawing and painting techniques, and well thought framing and composition with negative space on every sides as its borders. Deserves a six !
