Seeing this smaller first ,I wasn't sure I liked the darkness of the background but larger made me change my mind. I really like the idea and the techniques you have used here.I especially like the way you have shone the light in the vase and on the pedals. The pearls are so beautiful and transparent or opalesent looking.
I feel the darker side of the vase the flower gets lost due because in some places they are to close in hues. Then on the otherside of it I can see how you wanted the light to form down the central part of the picture. Very nice composition and colors.

The first thing I thought of when I looked and before I read your note, was what a pretty underwater scene. The pearls and the rock like object to the left of the vase make it look like it's underwater. I especially like the soft glow you have created in the center of the bud. It looks illuminscent. I like the way you have depicted shadowing on the vase itself, as well as the lighting. Very soft and makes you want to reach out and touch it to see if it might be real. I love the background texture and colors. Thanks again for a wonderful design.

this is lucious - no other word will adequately describe this. Wonderful colors - great movement in the lines pf the blossoms and the vase yet nice visual ocntrast with the statuette beside it. Orbs at the bottom - scattered carelessly are a great touch. Love it. Sue

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the way the colors blend and tie in together as a unit. The flower and vase with their silky-smooth shimmery effect are beautifully complemented with the little figurine at the left featuring a rougher surface. The little pearls scattered about look so natural, even though it's obvious you showed a lot of thought in their placement. Great work!

This is wonderful. I love the 'under the sea" fell to it with the pearls and coral. It almost looks as if the bud could produce yet another pearl. Great job!

The title to this is really "Pearls." That's why I originally made the bud pearly looking. When I started working on it again months later, I liked it and left it that way. Thank you for the excellent rating, MissLaura!!

Nice one.
You always use really nice colours, I like the soft background and the shiny pearly/ bubble colours in the foreground.
Thanks for sharing.
