This is cool. It brings back memories for me. I used to live in a small town and here meadowlarks whistle in the morning. I know this is not a meadowlark, at least I think it's not. I like the brightness around the bird. Gives the bird life. Nice texture used, and nice color. Soft and pleasing to look at. Great art.

He looks like he was originally a cardinal. I like the touches of color on the bird, the small purple flowers and the barn. The rest kind of reminds me of a drawing stained with coffee. Nicely done piece in mixed media. Thanks for sharing your work.

This is a beautiful work.You have really created it nicely and given a realistic look.The bird is very attractive with its open beak and yellow feathers.the stem and he leaves look beautiful with shading.I love the technique used for the sky and the earth.enjoyed watching it.
