Very nice, good, perfect lines and shadows you did on this painting. The sea color is really fantastic with some water transparent on the waves and the white splash. When I saw this "Caravela" I remember our ancient Portuguese crossing the Oceans, during some years, to look for another lands. Thanks for that!

This watercolor painting is amazing. I especially like how you did the ship crashing through the waves. Great use of color in this painting to convey the stormy seas. Very nice.

Your technique with limited color is mindblowing. I love your shading technique and the detail it produces. Your composition is exciting and full of energy. Your texture work on the ocean is fantastic. I enjoyed this stunning work.

I'm not an artist in the sense of paintings and sketches. I've never had that talent, which is why I picked up a camera. But I can tell you I've always had a thing for large sailing ships so this caught my eye. Great detail, I like the rough looking seas and the colors used in this. They seem to bring this painting to life. Great job.

I thought when I viewed this it
didn't look like a digital painting and I was right!! I must
say shawn that you are so very
talented in so many medias
of art! This is very beautiful
with all of the different shades of blues and greens. The ship is
so nicely detailed and the
water can really be "felt" when
looking at it.I can truly see how this painting earned an
All Time Best!!

Very nice. The colors and the tone are reminiscent of the period these ships came from. It has an almost classic feel to it and an almost watercolor appeal. Well done

Great colors in the water especially, you can see below the surface. The spray of water, obviously from wind, is very well done. Nice watercolor. Thanks for sharing.

More artwork please! This is great! Watercolour? I wouldn't have guessed. Looks more like oil or acrylic to me. Your ocean is incredibly realistic! I'm taking notes!
