I love the way the texture is derived from shadow. There is movement here as well as solitude and peace. It also depicts man and nature and how nature will inevitably erase all of our work and in my opinion stating a basic, universal truth. Further attention reveals the bare footprint in the center, a nice detail! Excellent!

beautiful, and so wonderfully presented. Peaceful, calm, flowing, shifting sand, and the gentle breeze of the dune plant life. Along with the story told of the "footprints", it definitely is a great shot, and a fine picture.

I like this image , would it have been stronger if there were no footsteps ?
Its difficult to say , I feel the footsteps are so large, they seem to disturb the tranquility of the scene. Lovely place anyway.
