Your talent continues to amaze me. This is absolutely stunning. The texture you have achieve on the cattails is impressive. The colors are strong, vibrant and really draw the viewer into the painting. This is a marvelous subject and you have, as always, done an excellent job with it. Very, very good work.

Opppperrgeeeee! Favorite sound in the swamps this time of year. I liked this one because I like swamps and these guys are a main part. I also like the way it's art rather than trying to make an exact representation. All the facets of swamp life are there and makes it alive.

I like the title firebird because the bird's wings really look like they are on fire. The red in the lady bug is also very similar to the wings. I like the muted colors in this piece because it makes the red stand out even more.

This is a very beautifil picture of a blackbird with red wings.
The ladybird is just at vthe right place and the plants are the counterweight to the upperpart of the picture. The colors are in harmony and the light is soft and nice ,but absent on the bird.

This is so lovely! what a great creation! Love the effects you have used for the creation of this. Your detail is exceptional as usual and you have presented this well. The red on the wings stands out nicely and is very attractive for this composition.

Oh these are one of my favorite birds. I knew exactly what it was even before reading any notes! Some consider them to be a pest but they're not. I just love they're musical notes. I like how you caught this bird doing exactly what it'd be doing in the wild. Eying up the ladybug for lunch. Beautiful detail on the bird with perfect markings. I like the soft background and the perfect land detail throughout! Just beautiful.

It looks to me that you are building a portfolio of these lovely birds. I think you are on the right track to do so. Color balance and composition are right on the money. ARTSEY
