This is beautiful. The colors are wonderful. They have a great contrast against one another. The blue of the flowers pops against the blue of the background. The green leaves draw your attention to the flowers. The reflection on the vase and in the table is a nice touch. Well done!

Your beautiful image will last much longer than though. Love the deep color you have put into this, makes it feel very rich. Great forms and the lighting enhances it well :)

Thank you, Shiloh!! I know it all depends on the soil type as to what color they are. It reminds me of putting flowers into water with food coloring, and they turn that color. Especially, white flowers. We used to do it with daffodils (sp) :)

We did it with carnations. I remember thinking it was like magic as a kid :)

Excellent composition,,nice diagonal line resulting from arching of flower head. Metallic quality of orange vase contrasts nicely with textured background and soft edges of large leaves. Love the bold streak of purple in stem. Very well done.

Nice work on thiese stunning flowers~ we have an abundance of these in the garden in huge beds.~
& you have painted them so beautifully the tiny flowers that make one head you have portrayed so technically correct yet a splendid delicate touch.~
The backdrop of a mottled blue really does enhance these & would be the last colour of my choice to use.~The contrast of the green leaves & tiny yellow flowers & decorative vase with it luster adds to the image by the reflection it gives on the table.
A pleasure to review a work with such defined details.~
