The red probably attracted him and he was hoping there was some special Christmas food as well! Excellent detail. I like the way the branch and needles frame the top of the picture. The red provides a bit of color and energy. A really cute and perky fellow.

A wonderful birdie portrait. He looks like he's posing for his Christmas pictures. I love the red bulb hanging from the tree. At a quick glance it almost looks like the bird and the bulb are one Christmas ornament! Great Shot! - Joyce Vitek
