Fantastic closeup Willie. The glimmer & shine on the eye is just fantastic. Your detail is so fine here i can see the perfect formation of an ice crystal just under its neck. Stunning clarity. Your bokeh works very well. Nice tone of light green provides warmth for the photo. Perfectly in focus once again. Very rich rustic tones of ambers & browns in the squirrell. Well done Willie

A good crystal clear photo, showing all the detail of the squirrel's fur and beady eye. Its an unusual framing of a squirrel as people normally want to include the tail. This is good because you've attempted to do something different. My only slight reservation is the cropping. Because for me, the centre of attention is the squirrel's eye, I would perhaps have cropped a little harder to the right, to offset the eye from the middle of your picture - purely personal.

Thank you so much! There was no cropping here, this is a hurried shot. I was zoomed in as close as I could get. I wanted to get detail on the eyes and nose. I do have several with the tail but I thought this was more interesting.
