Initial Impact: For obtaining the silver shine you accomplished that. What I don't understand is what was the purpose of the bits and piece of something behind a frame showing. It distracts from you subject mater. Lighting: is right on. Silver rose presentation. Color harmony: Color converted to B&W. Center of interest: the silver rose. Cropping: good.
Focus: good. Action require: remove the unnecessary items. I would just clone them out.
Story telling is in the Title and Artist's notes.

Very very cool shot. I love the texture. The framing of your shot is a little distracting. Hard to believe it was red to start with. All in all great shot and love the lighting.
